Welcome students, faculty, and staff to the Google Glass blog site. Logan Library and Instructional Technology have started working on the Google Glass Project here at Schreiner University. In the following weeks we will have real students testing the Google Glass. You will see them around campus, in Kerrville, and the surrounding areas as our Google Glass Exploration moves forward.
Here at the SUGlass site, you can monitor the activity of the project, make comments, or even suggestions of what you would like to see done with Google Glass. Do remember this is in beta testing and the equipment is still a prototype. All functionalities are not yet available. Here at Schreiner the students testing the device want to make the experience fun and fulfilling to themselves and to the student body. Your ideas can help us move forward and test aspects we may not have thought of.
At the end of the Exploration the Google Glass will be formally introduced to the whole campus at the Academic Showcase on April 22, 2014.
Stay tuned to the SUGlass site and stay up to date with the real testimonials from your fellow students.
